Fire Safety
Our students got a special visit from some real-life heroes — the Hendersonville Fire Department!
The children’s eyes lit up as the big red firetruck rolled onto our campus, lights flashing and sirens blaring. The firefighters took time to show us all the amazing tools they use to keep our community safe — from the big hoses and ladders to the special gear they wear when fighting fires.
Each class had the chance to explore the truck up close, peek inside the cab, and even try on a firefighter’s helmet! Our little learners asked thoughtful questions, practiced saying their home address, and learned important fire safety tips like “Stop, Drop, and Roll.”
It was a day full of learning, laughter, and admiration for our community helpers. We are so grateful to the Hendersonville Fire Department House Three for taking the time to visit and inspire our future heroes!
