Special Fitness Guest

Today we had a special guest from the YMCA come and talk to all of our classrooms about eating right and exercising. Our kiddos loved talking with her and telling her all about what they do to work out. She talked to them about what kinds of foods they should be eating! She had some of the children come up and demonstrate what they do to work out. The children loved to share what they were doing. She talked about different ways you can exercise! Everyone really enjoyed it!

New Movement Enrichment

The children have really enjoyed our new enrichments!! In our movement enrichment the children are exploring movement through music!! We are very excited about the new enrichments here at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village! The children have loved learning all about movement epically since it is Fitness Fanatics this month!!!

Fitness Fanatics

Fitness Fanatics is in full swing this week!!!

We have had parents come in to assist our teachers with fitness activities inside the classroom! The kids have really enjoyed it and we love having parents take time out of their busy days to be a special guest in our classrooms!!!
Here is our Preschool classroom doing stretching exercises!!

 

Today we also had yoga in the enrichment room. Most of the kids loved being out there and having lots of space to stretch!!! Ms. Amy captivated their attention while they did some pretty fancy moves!!

January starts a new enrollment year for us here at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village. We have had 8 new babies start just this week! They are all so precious!! All of our teachers have enjoyed going and loving on all the new babies!! We had twin baby girls start on Thursday. All these babies are so precious and we are all so thankful for the families here at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village! We can not wait to see what 2014 has in store for us!

Fitness Fanatics Kick Off

The Fitness Fanatics is officially in full swing. Our entire school came out into out into our enrichment room to do our kick off to Fitness Fanatics pep rally!

All the kiddos are very excited to being working out and staying more active. A lot of our classrooms are doing friendly competitions to see who can stay active the most!!

We are all very excited to be doing Fitness Fanatics again this year!!
