Tractor Supply

 

This week we had Charles and Michelle from Tractor Supply come and show us how to take care of our plants. The kids were able to get involved and help dig the holes to fill with all the types of plants. We got Mint leaves, Eggplants, Banana Pepper leaves, Mosquito trap plants, so many cool and fun plants to watch grow. 

 

ELSA came to visit!!

This week is fairytale week so to celebrate we had a special guest came and get to take pictures with the kids. The kids were so excited. Elsa got to spend time in each classroom, and even sing some songs with them. 

 

Bus Safety

 Learning the safety procedures of entering and exiting a school bus.  

The class got to walk around the bus and learning what the different lights mean and see how they must stay still until the bus comes to a completely stop and the stop  sign and arm come out for them to approach and get on the bus. 

Buster was a big help in understanding the safety of the school bus. The first rule is as soon as you get on the bus find your seat and stay seated on your bottom, because if anything where to happen that cushion protects you. 

Egypt

 This week we had two very special guest. Two of our own got to share with the children what is like from their home in Egypt. They had an amazing presentation with singing, dancing, pictures, and even a special treat at the end for all the kids and staff. 

Water Safety

 Next week kicks off our summer of fun and with that comes water days!!! 

Although that is so exciting, it is important to understand the water safety guidelines. 

It is important for the children to understand how to play safely with themselves and others. Waiting their turn, watching out for friends, walking with wet shoes, never holding their face under the water for long periods of time, if using water slide making sure to always be feet first, and using listening ears. 

 Teachers will be supervising throughout the entire time and making sure to children and safe.
