Last week at AoILV we went over what to expect when going back to school.
We also spoke with the children about how we act during school, our walking feet, our inside voices, helping clean up and how we make new friends. We also spoke with the children about each center we offer in the classroom and how to play in each center.
We also had our last special guest of the summer, The Nashville Zoo! It wasn’t what we expected and we weren’t able to see the animals in real life but they made our experience very special! We are so thankful for our community and everything they are willing to do for our littles during this time.
Since our final guest of the summer was the zoo, we thought it would be a great time to introduce one of our classroom pets, Zeus. Zeus is an albino guinea pig. He resides in our Preschool 2 classroom. We absolutely love him. The children are always so excited to see him each morning. The next couple of weeks, we will share the importance of taking care of him.
We are so thankful for our school family and everything you continue to do to help us thrive as a school family. We hope everyone has a wonderful week and a safe, long weekend.
Here’s some pictures from last week, including Zeus’s sleepy photo!
