Valentines Week!

This week at AoILV was full of fun!
Valentines is all about feeling/ showing love and that’s exactly what we did!


Monday, we set up a small table with a very big meaning!
We cut the hearts (with love, of course!) and asked everyone to write something to their child’s teacher, just to show them how much they really mean to each and every family!

Tuesday, we set up for our guessing game!
How many sweet hearts do you think there were?
Can you guess without going over like our families did?

There were 1006 to be exact!
Huge shoutout to the Rager family!
They guessed 969 which was our closest guess without going over!

Thursday, we did a grab-and-go (Cupid edition)
The kids loved them! (So did the adults!)

Friday, we celebrated our Valentines with parties in our classes!
Class parties are a hit here at The Academy, not only for the kids but the parents too!

Olaf’s Super Fun Adventure!

Today, was a very magical day here at The Academy of Indian Lake!
We had a very special visitor whom everyone just loved seeing and sharing breakfast with.
Can you guess who it was?!
You’re right! The one and only, Olaf!
We absolutely loved watching the children light up (and some of our teachers) when seeing him and just enjoying some family time over breakfast.
We took some great pictures and made some very magical memories!

Holiday week fun!

With the holiday weeks happening, we gave our little’s a break too.
They enjoyed watching The Polar Express and Frozen. They absolutely loved watching both films and singing along.
This next week, we look forward to lots of fun events including breakfast with Olaf and other fun activities.
January kicks off our Fitness fanatics every Friday. Fitness fanatics is all about getting the children to be more active and more aware of all the things their bodies can do. So be on the look out of all those fun photos!

This week’s fun!

This week here at The Academy of Indian Lake, was full of fun activities.

-Monday, was all about reading about different Holiday traditions from around the world.
 -Tuesday, We had a Gingerbread Man hunt. All classes participated in hiding gingerbread men (and women) around their classrooms and allowing the children to find them!
-Wednesday, was all about the cookie decorating. We set up a cookie decorating station in our enrichment room for the children and parents to decorate cookies and just spend some family fun time together!
-Thursday, was a HUGE hit. Not just with the children either. Our teacher had just as much fun as the children did. On Thursday, we focused on enhancing our sensory play. Each class had a container of slime (Christmas themed, of course!) We also added in some holiday themed paper into our sand! Check out some of our best reactions with the slime!
-Friday, is all about the Party! Stay tuned for some class photos of some of our best class parties.

This is our last full week before the holidays so we wanted to make it fun but educational also. I think we nailed it! Let us know what you think!!

Santa's In Town!

This week at The Academy of Indian Lake Village, we had a very special visitor! Santa stopped by and shared some of his Christmas spirit with each of our littles. He even had some extra time to read a couple of stories to some of our older classrooms. Check out this special Christmas Magic..

All The Holiday Feels

Here at the Academy Of Indian Lake Village we have all the Holiday cheer! We have spent a lot of time and resources, to add a little holiday cheer to every room we have. This week we spent time writing letters to Santa, decorating our tree with fun crafts made with love from the children and just being silly with our decorations.. Here! Check it out for yourself!

Guessing Game Fun!

This past week at The Academy of Indian Lake Village, we got our parents and children involved with some guessing game fun! Of course, not for just anything. This contest was for a half priced week of tuition.. And our lucky winners were....

We want to give a huge shoutout to Mathias Strickler and his family! They were our closest guess without going over. We hope you had as much as we did guessing how many peppermints!
