Morning Message

 Students in the Pre-Kindergarten 1 classroom focused on letter "K" during their morning meeting. Students took turns underlining the letter "K" using dry erase markers in their morning message, "Kids like to fly Kites." 

There's "SNOW" place like Toddler 2

 Toddlers enjoyed molding, manipulating, and scooping artificial snow. Teachers used words like "frio" to describe the snow. "Frio" means "cold" in Spanish. 

Letter Similarities

Students in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom compared their names using Magnet Letters. They were challenged to identify and tally matching letters. Teachers asked, "How many "E's" do we have in all of our names?" 

 

Love Chains

Students and teachers worked together to build Love Chains! Each link represents a student and when we are all together we are stronger! 

Stories of Three

 

This week students are exploring "Stories of Three." They are reading the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and The Three Little Pigs! 

Nom Nom Nom

 We are Chefs! Part of taking care of our body is making healthy snack choices! Students investigated a new fruit, a pomegranate! Students also took responsibility to make their own healthy afternoon snack by using celery, Sun Butter, and raisins to create "Ants on a Log!" YUM! 

Fitness Fanatics!

 January is all about moving and taking care of our bodies! Students warmed up by using weights and lifting them up over their heads! This is great practice for our Weight Lifting Competition on January 

24th!
