Today, we are using our imaginations to plant a pretend flower garden!  It is still chilly outside for flowers to grow, so we made our own flower gardens inside. We are looking forward to Spring!

Celebrating Dr. Suess!

We are kicking off Dr. Suess' birthday and Read Across America day with a week filled with activities and dress up days!   Each year, Read Across America day is celebrated on March 2nd, the same day as Dr. Suess' birthday!  Reading books with your child is so important to engage them in reading and to get them to read on a regular basis!

The Importance of Handwashing!

Regular handwashing, particularly before and after certain activities, is one of the best ways to remove germs, avoid getting sick, and prevent the spread of germs to others. It’s quick, it’s simple, and it can keep us all from getting sick. Handwashing is a win for everyone, except the germs!

Our Pre K 2 class did a handwashing "spot the germs" activity and then washed all the germs away!

Fun with Mr Big Time Healthy!!

Mr. Big Time Healthy came out on Tuesday!  The children had a blast and had such an awesome time singing and dancing!  He also talked about brushing teeth, flossing, eating well, and exercising!!
