Horses and Cows at AoILV!

It's the week of horses and cows here at Indian Lake Village! We got to "milk a cow" yesterday and everyone had so much fun. We were able to strengthen our fine motor skills while practicing for life on a farm!

 Even our toddlers were able to try it out!

We had an extra large visitor come by the school today. Our friends learned about his favorite treats, (apples), and that he loves to run. They also learned about his long mane and how Sunny needs to be brushed 4 times a day!

 We even got to learn about their special horse shoes that they put on their  hooves!

Rock Castle Easter Egg Hunt

Spring has sprung here at The Academy of Indian Lake Village. We were at Rock Castle this weekend for their annual Easter egg hunt. The Academy did an Easter craft and we also did facepainting!! It was such a great turn out, even though the weather was a little chilly. The Red Queen and Alice from Alice in Wonderland came to visit as well! Classroom showcase

Dental Health Month at AoILV

Celebrating Dental Health Month

We had a Dental Hygienist from Just 4 Kids Teeth come and visit today! She taught us all about flossing and brushing and how to keep our teeth clean!

Our famous baby!

Our Infant 2 teacher took pictures of her babies with sunglasses on. One of our parents sent the picture in to WSMV-TV and it ended up on their website!! This was for the Embrace the day photo. This precious angel got over 1,000 likes!!!! I thought I would share it with you. We embrace everyday we get to spend with our little ones! When life gives you lemons, Make lemonade!

We love to make sweet treats here at The Academy of Indian Lake village. Today our friends made lemonade! Our friends got to squeeze the lemons and add the sugar and mix it all up!
