Melting Science

Students used markers, cups, and heat to create art! Students were encouraged to color a plastic cup using permanent markers. Once completed, we placed the cups into a hot oven. The cups melted in artistic plastic discs for the students to enjoy!

December Around The World

In December students traveled all around the world learning about how different cultures celebrate during the month of December. We traveled to Mexico to study Pointsettias, China to celebrate the Winter Solstice, and even Australia to party on the beach! Did you know it is summer time in Australia in December!? Students enjoyed learning about diversity and various traditions. The Grinch welcomed us back home after our travels! But he did too take our holiday decorations back to Mt. Crumpit with him after New Years Breakfast! January kicks off "Fitness Fanatics!" We are looking forward to building healthy habits this year!

A.C.E.S Thanksgiving Day Parade

To kickoff the Holiday Season, AOILV hosts The A.C.E.S Thanksgiving Day Parade! Classrooms select their own theme, prepare their costumes, decorate their accessories and then parade through the school!
