This week’s fun!

This week here at The Academy of Indian Lake, was full of fun activities.

-Monday, was all about reading about different Holiday traditions from around the world.
 -Tuesday, We had a Gingerbread Man hunt. All classes participated in hiding gingerbread men (and women) around their classrooms and allowing the children to find them!
-Wednesday, was all about the cookie decorating. We set up a cookie decorating station in our enrichment room for the children and parents to decorate cookies and just spend some family fun time together!
-Thursday, was a HUGE hit. Not just with the children either. Our teacher had just as much fun as the children did. On Thursday, we focused on enhancing our sensory play. Each class had a container of slime (Christmas themed, of course!) We also added in some holiday themed paper into our sand! Check out some of our best reactions with the slime!
-Friday, is all about the Party! Stay tuned for some class photos of some of our best class parties.

This is our last full week before the holidays so we wanted to make it fun but educational also. I think we nailed it! Let us know what you think!!

Santa's In Town!

This week at The Academy of Indian Lake Village, we had a very special visitor! Santa stopped by and shared some of his Christmas spirit with each of our littles. He even had some extra time to read a couple of stories to some of our older classrooms. Check out this special Christmas Magic..

All The Holiday Feels

Here at the Academy Of Indian Lake Village we have all the Holiday cheer! We have spent a lot of time and resources, to add a little holiday cheer to every room we have. This week we spent time writing letters to Santa, decorating our tree with fun crafts made with love from the children and just being silly with our decorations.. Here! Check it out for yourself!

Guessing Game Fun!

This past week at The Academy of Indian Lake Village, we got our parents and children involved with some guessing game fun! Of course, not for just anything. This contest was for a half priced week of tuition.. And our lucky winners were....

We want to give a huge shoutout to Mathias Strickler and his family! They were our closest guess without going over. We hope you had as much as we did guessing how many peppermints!

Life’s better in PJ’s

Here at The Academy of Indian Lake Village, we like to make our families and littles feel as comfortable as possible. This week we embraced our pajamas with a school wide PJ party! Even our staff gets in on the school fun. Check it out for yourself!

Fall Art

It is definitely starting to feel like Fall outside with the cooler temperatures!  This week in PS1 we made a fall leaf collage and painted with pinecones!

Pet Week

This week at The Academy of Indian Lake Village is Pet Week!

Preschool 2 made a graph of which pet was their favorite!

Meet Casper!

Small animals in the classroom are great helpers with morning separation anxiety and also transition times! 

Casper greets our friends each morning at drop off and he plays in his exercise ball with us while we get our cots ready to rest. 

Casper is such a great friend!
