Wacky Tacky Dress Up Day

Here at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village we enjoy having dress up days!! Today was wacky tacky dress up day! The children and the teachers were dressed up wacky and tacky! The children have so enjoyed having miss matched clothes!

The Tooth Fairy

We had a special guest form the tooth fairy!! She came and talked to all our preschool and Pre-K Classrooms about how to take care of your teeth! She sang a plethora of songs to all of the kids about tooth care, she also let them practice how to brush teeth on a stuffed monkey she brought with her! 

Valentines Day Parties

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!! We had a wonderful day here at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village! All of the classrooms enjoyed parties that included some very yummy treats as well and a Valentine gift exchange! Our classrooms also made different gifts to send home for their parents!!! The parents absolutely loved all of the their gifts!!! A great time was had by all!! 

Little Painters

Here at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village we are just bursting with talent!!!
All of our children in our infant three classroom are little Picasso's in the making! Their wonderful teacher put different color paints on a piece of paper and then put it into a bag and let the babies go to town painting the papers!!

Painting like Michelangelo

Our theme this month at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village is Terrific Tools! Our preschool 3 classroom decided to use their tools in a different way. Our teacher Ms. Aubrey taped paper under the table and had the children lay under the table and paint a masterpiece just like Michelangelo did to the Sistine Chapel.

All of the paintings were just as beautiful as Michelangelo's painting!
