Big germs, Little hands

This week at AoILV we focused on many things such as weather and where each class would go if a weather event presented itself, the importance of recycling and the biggest one yet.. HANDWASHING! We understand that keeping a clean space for your children is a big deal. We plan to keep it as clean as possible here and ensure they always have a clean and safe place to learn!

We (As the adults) know how important it is to wash our hands and keep them away from our faces. So, this week we took a little extra time and explained how important it is to keep our hands clean and just how to wash them.

The kids had a blast but learned while doing so. Each child thought of their favorite song and was asked to sing in it while washing their hands. (HUGE hit in our Pre-K classes!)
For our smaller ones, (Preschool, Toddlers, and infants) we decided to that Twinkle, Twinkle was just right!

Here at The Academy, we want to ensure we take every precautionary measure possible to ensure that we limit our germ exposure as much as possible. We have antibacterial hand soap at each sink in the building along with hand sanitizer at our front door. Please use them!

We look forward to seeing each and every one of you and your littles at The Academy.
