Annual Christmas Program

It's that time of year again! We cannot believe how quickly another year has passed and we are looking forward to many more with our families!

To celebrate the holiday, we held an in house Christmas program! Each performance was followed by classroom parties full of yummy snacks, crafts, gift exchanges, and mingling! We had a great turnout and the children were so excited to perform and show off their rooms to their extended families! Happy Holidays AoILV!

Practicing before their big moment!

Day to Day

Aside from our in house events, those day to day interactions are equally as important. Each moment of the day is what we call a "teachable" moment. Here's a little snippet into our day to day life of learning at AoILV!

Teamwork, focus, reasoning, and PLAY!

Building shapes, geometry, occupation education and PLAY!

Reading The Three Billy Goats Gruff teaches ordinal sequencing, spatial awareness, teamwork, focus, and sparks the PLAY imagination!

These moments are why our motto is GROW. LEARN. PLAY.

Come join us!

Santa Visit

Santa came to school! He was able to squeeze in a little bit of time in his hectic schedule to get all if the kiddos wish lists at AoILV!

Traditional Tales Month

This month at AoILV, our theme is "Traditional Tales". We are reliving all of those classic childhood stories! Our kids have made 3 Little Pig maps and graphs, and today we had a Three Bears Sensory table in Enrichment! Stay tuned for our Billy Goat and Gingerbread Man activities!

Family Thanksgiving Lunch

We had a great turnout for our Thanksgiving Holiday Family Luncheon! Families mingled, children played and everyone enjoyed delicious turkey, casseroles and pies! Thank you for ALL that you do, AoILV families!

Babies!

Our Infants are growing so quickly! Please slow down the time! We truly love being able to witness each child grow and see their personalities shine!

Weekend Projects

Family time is so important and with the chaos of life, work, commutes and extra curriculars, we sometimes lose the time needed to plan those game nights around the table.

Let us do that for you! We know you're busy and we love to show appreciation by providing "to go" family activities!

Last week our families took home mini cornhole project kits provided by Home Depot of Indian Lake to build while the big games were on! These were a hit!

Chili Cook Off

With the cold weather quickly approaching, we decided to warm everyone up with a family chili cook off! We had several families bring in their award winning recipes to share as a grab and go dinner.

We love to see our families mingle and participate in our AoILV community. It was a close race, but the Nichols family chili was the crowd favorite! Congratulations! You won a FREE WEEK of tuition!!!

Stay warm out there!

Thanks to our local Chilis for donating to go bowls!

Monday Mingle

We truly try to instill a sense of community and partnership with our families. We value their feedback and encourage their involvement. Tonight we held a Monday Mingle for our parents to share their ideas, connections and to simply grow together! We love our families and cannot wait to have even more involved this upcoming year!

Sibling Love

We were able to capture a few very sweet moments on the playgrounds this week! Our siblings keep an eye on each other and love to have fence chats and snuggles!

Halloween Celebrations!

What a FUN FILLED day we had at AoILV  this Friday as we celebrated Halloween in style! The children came running in, all smiles, showing off their costumes! As did the staff! We love being silly and bringing out our inner children!

Halloween is a time for children to explore through dramatic play and we ensured many opportunities for them to use their imaginations!

We opened a bakery to teach customer service, math and teamwork!

We sprinkled "magic" pumpkin seeds on the playground and "magic" pumpkins grew while the children napped!

We also held a costume parade, walked the kiddos from class to class trick or treating, and celebrated with outdoor class parties after nap! Happy Halloween!
