Kit Flying Day!

At The Academy Of Indian Lake Village we are learning all about things Up In The Air. This week we took to the skies with our Pre-K 2 and Pre- K 3 classrooms. Our friends went on a walking field trip to the park across the street to fly their kites! All of our children loved getting to walk across the street and fly kits! It was a very special day for our friends at The Academy!!

Mentos Experiment

We love science here at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village!! Today we did an experiment with the delicious Mentos candy, and the always classic Coke Cola!! The children absolutely loved watching the Coke shoot up into the air!!! It was precious watching their faces of pure wonder!!! Moon Dough

This month at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village we are learning about everything that is up in the air! We are learning about weather, man made things in the air, and human made things in the air! In honor of our theme, our friends here at The Academy made moon dough! Moon dough consists of 2 ingredients; flour and baby oil. The children loved getting to mix all of the ingredients together to make the moon dough. They also so enjoyed playing with it once they had finished mixing it!!! Flying bubble art!

Today at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village we did flying bubble art for special art activity!! The children loved coloring the bubbles. They also loved making it their bubble masterpieces. It was so amazing to watch their art come to life! Each one of their works of art was so different, and so amazing!!! The children loved doing creating bubble art! Magic Show

We love magic at The Academy Of Indian Lake Village!!! We had a gentleman come to our center and perform a magic show! All of the children absolutely loved seeing all of his magic tricks!! The teachers also enjoyed it!! He even had some of our friends come up and be his volunteer!!
