March for Morgan

Here at the Academy we have connected with a child who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. We have been working closely with her family. This weekend we did a March 4 Morgan. All of the proceeds went to pediatric cancer research. When asked Morgan stated that her goal was to raise $2,010 for pediatric cancer research. Well the polls came in and she raised $5,500 in one day!! It was an amazing out pouring of support from the community. She is a precious, spunky little girl. She participates in cheerleading and is an awesome athlete! It has been our pleasure getting to know Morgan and working with her family to help raise money and awareness about pediatric cancer. Here is just one of the many facts about childhood cancer. Each year in the United States, approximately 13,500 children and adolescents 18 and under are diagnosed with cancer, that’s more than a classroom of kids a day.
